What we collect

• Email address — if you create an account, to let you sign in and receive optional email notifications you opt into.
• Display name and avatar color — if you set them in Settings, shown only to you.
• Saved properties — parcels you choose to save, visible only to your account.
• Recently viewed properties — stored only in your browser's local storage, never sent to our servers, and never visible to anyone but you on that device.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.

How we use it

Solely to operate the Service: authenticating you, storing your saved properties and preferences, and — only if you opt in — emailing you about updates to properties you've saved.

Who we share it with

We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication — your account data is stored on their infrastructure under their own security and privacy practices. We don't sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Public property/GIS data displayed on this Service comes from the Town of East Hampton and Suffolk County and is not personal data about you.

Local storage, not cookies

This Service doesn't use traditional tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two purposes: keeping you signed in, and remembering properties you've recently viewed so you can find them again. Both stay on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser's settings.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile information any time in Settings. To delete your account and associated data entirely, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

Children's privacy

This Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes.
